V.O.R. Voice of Rock

        We at Midwest Speaker have been working with a local independent manufacturer, MISCO(Minneapolis Speaker Company), to develop a number of specialty pieces, ranging from home HIFI to musical instrument speakers. MISCO is the largest independent manufacturer of all types of drivers for all types of speaker designers all over the world. We went to them and requested a Jensen P12R copy and this is what they created. This driver is truly exceptional! It far surpasses the tonal quality of the reissue Jensen P12R and is by far, the best driver I have heard under $200. It’s a bit on the bright side and had to dial back the trebel a bit, but once I did, I was rewarded with the sweetest sound I have heard from a newly manufactured driver under $200. This style of driver, I usually rebuild myself, out of reclaimed Zenith drivers and the like from old hifi consoles, to get the quality of tone I like, but this one does it right out off the assembly line, which by the way, is all hand built in Minneapolis, MN USA.

V.O.R. Speaker Line

Currently we only stock our 12" Alnico 25 watt speaker.  We are working on 8" and 10" alnico and ferrite magnets in the near future.
